“Server Farm…!!!” 2023
Following our outdoor activities, our group convened in a large boardroom at a local hotel to create a unique art installation dubbed “Server Farm”!! This was the original server from the first days of Moses Lab – long since retired – and re-purposed as a planter. All removable parts were extracted, and the server was painted and filled with soil. Some of the processor’s components were then incorporated into the creation – to accentuate the “art vs. technology” theme of the project. All participants engaged in the painting and landscaping of the server – hence the name!
The (~) finished product is now on permanent display in the Ramsay-Wright Building room RW-515 – come check it out!!!!
